That is a nice walleye. Seeing about the same over here, lots of fish around 15 inches. Just may keep 2/3 on Thursdays. The "old" couple down the road told me that their daughter hasn't had much luck this year. I think it was a "hint"....h2l

Elite series angler, Jamie Hartman, was on Oneida yesterday when He noticed a burning boat. He immediately reacted and drove towards the couple that had jumped ship and pulled them onboard his boat and drove them to safety. Your a good man, Jamie!!!😎

That had to be scary. Good thing he was there to help.

Anybody see the large boat towing the long lines this week?

I guess ESF is heading up a project where they are scanning the bottom of the lake to document the bottom make up and sedimentation in the lake.

It sounds sort of like a core sample but it is all done with electronics.

I saw them when I was fishing Sunday evening. If you do encounter them please give them plenty of space. Their lines are quite a ways behind the boat and out to the side and marked by large white buoys.

Yeah that sounds like their boat. I didn’t get close enough to see the engines though.

I just found this interview about Hartman's rescue. He said the boat sank and was marked with a big orange buoy.

With the amount of water they were pumping on the fire I assumed it was eventually going down. The electrical systems had to be toast. The guy said his gas tank was full.
Nice job on the fish guys.... 8)
The wife & I hope to give it a whirl this weekend.
