 Badly hooked , I prefer 16-18” to eat
 It’s just a personal preference

Big walleyes are great, one can fill a bag enough for 2 people. You know that one guy that asks you for fish all the time, they are for him the lazy old goat, he will love them.

On a separate note, anyone been out this week for perch. Was wondering if they were spawned out yet, mama wants some perch eggs.

Hahaha my old man was famous for that God Rest his soul. Lost him 4 years ago this July. Anyways he always was asking you got any fish I can have you got any venison I can have. So every year I would give him the oldest venison. In the freezer and bags of fish that I saved for him. Always bass catfish or big old walleyes. He never complained but he also never wanted to help catch it or kill it.

About 15 minutes after I start cleaning perch my mom always shows up random like. I wouldn't give her old stuff either, top shelf for all my trouble.

I always save the walleye for my mom - she'll eat crappie and perch but when she hears I caught some walleye it doesn't even make it to the freezer - hahaha

I would have gave him the best to if he would have helped go fishing. He couldn't hunt his fault. He fished all the time as a kid and in his early 20s then gave it up for some reason. He wasn incapable he was lazy. He would rather stay home wait for ya to get back clean all the fish then ask can I have some of those
