We checked the creek yesterday and today. There was a good amount of fish in there yesterday but less today. Probably something to do with the snow…

The hatchery is loaded up with fish.

Ok, so I guess the DEC busted a bunch of Native Americans spearing walleye at the hatchery. They can’t understand what they were doing is wrong…said the officer is taking food off his daughters plate…
He had like 40 fish…🤬

I’ve lived on Oneida lake for 49 years and I never heard of this happening before. These guys weren’t locals…also pretty sure the ringleader has been in trouble in the past with the DEC for taking over limits and out of season….
