Ok, as Arch said... pics to come!
It started off as a pretty good day, waves were up but not extremely bad. Maybe 2-3ft'rs.
We had all the lines out and fishing by 7:30 or so and the first hookup came at about 8:30AM.
D-man was first up...(but Arch thought it was his because it was the rod he was watching...lol)
Next up was Arch... He was happy now!
I think his was a little longer than D-mans, but weighed less...
Next fish was supposed to be Fishryc's, But we were clearing lines and the one I was checking had this little
guy on there. Smallest one of the day, but still legal and a good eater...
Then we finally got Fishryc up there, but unfortunately it wasn't the hog wallys that the other guys got.
It was however a nice juvenile Steelhead that will taste great in the frying pan...
And then there is my friend Bob... He took ALOT of ribbing for the rest of the day because his first fish was lost at the back of the boat. Could have been a walleye, could have been a BIG sturgeon... we will never know!
But it didn't take long, and he got to redeem himself... which lightened up SOME of the ribbing!
Well, by now the day has been long, beers were consumed and the waves were getting taller.
So at about 2ish we cleared the lines and headed back in to port, done at about 3:30 and back at Mac's for
relax time. After more beers and good conversation, fish were cleaned and dinner was cooked, But before the fish were
cleaned we all got together for a group photo...
we all had a great dinner (Thanks for the tasty sausage Fishryc and D-man), and afterwards even had an awesome dessert, Mac's daughter brought us Key Lime pie!... Yummy!
Bye this time we had a couple more beers and some more good conversation, but we were all pretty much
dead dogs from the long day, nice weather and beers!
And to cap off the day... another beautiful sunset from the view of Mac and Donna's Patio...
Thanks again Mac and Donna, for the great time and good hospitality!
Also, thanks to everyone who joined us, good crowd and good company. Thats what makes the times fun and memorable!
