Tank and I hit a few creeks for a few hours this morning. Poked around and found a few holdovers on unstocked streams. Much slower than normal but have never seen our creeks at sumertime flows on april 1st.  :'(
Dad with a nice 17 incher out of a small creek.  ;D
Otis - you have lost a pile of lbs... Great job!

I was waiting for y'all's report!  It's one I definitely look forward too!  Great looking fish there Tank!

Thanks, I weighed in at the doc's office on Friday and I'm officially down 100 pounds.  Shoot me a pm!

Years ago I remember walking across my field and fishing for days without every seeing another fisherman TP, if the water was high, months, it was hard to take, hundreds of steelhead and only us in what is now known as the upper fly.. the good ole days.  ;D
I know man it crazy to see the transition of salmon fishermen to you hard core salmon fishermen it just blows my mind how much the salmon river has become so famous in the last 10 years

Beautiful day of fishing. Off the water by noon with five fish total caught, two of them being these two monsters. Missed another right at the end that felt bigger. They're all still out there for next time.

Beautiful brookies!!!
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

Thanks to all. I've been a member on IceShanty for a while but never really got into MFF. In my free time for work, the farm, and actually being on the water, I'll be here checking on things.

About the fish... Nothing fights like a big brookie. I caught them using a couple bass fishing techniques. All caught in about three foot of water. In a pond that is no more than 25 acres.
