kinderhook creek fisherman
« on: Mar 29, 2005, 02:01 PM »
I was just out checking it out, and it is REALLY bad, it is over it's bank in most places, very muddy, and some of the water is looking like class 4 or better rapids...Its is absolutely unfishable, most of its tributaries are the same also...and the worse news is that the hills around the tribs and headwaters still have a foot or two of snow on the ground, AND there is more rain coming on thursday and friday.

I drove past it this morning and it's a moving fast >:( The good news is that it usually repairs itself pretty quickly-weather permitting.

The creek is half the size it was yeaterday but still raging.  I'm more on the southern end not sure about north.  If the weather holds it might not be too high.

Hey Lance, I am trying to PM you on this site and when I click on your name it says "I'm sorry but you can't view just any profile".  What is this Lance?
Oh Lord,
There he is.
Feels like a big one.
Please don’t let me lose him.
I’ve never caught one this big before.
I’ll try not to horse him.
And if I land him I promise to release him
And make a graphite replica...
If my wife says it’s okay.
Thank you for the Rapalas.
Amen.

The creek is very ulgy from 9h, but getting much better.  Too bad the weather's not.  If you're planning on going out it's pretty much now or never (next week).
