Delwood Reservoir
« on: Aug 03, 2011, 08:46 AM »
Just for fun I took the boat over to Delwood yesterday. The fishing was very good.
This is a CR-1 area so barbless and reduced limits. I never kept any fish but was catching lots of pike from 1-6 lbs. I also caught a couple small Walleye just over a lb. and a decent sized perch while trolling.
There is no real boat launch here because of the high water levels the last few years. If you have a smaller boat 14-16 ft you will find a few spots to launch.

The good part of having a smaller boat, if the truck can get there the boat can to.  Only bad part as the girls say "this boat can't pull tubes" that is true but it pulls the *#?@ out of cranks.  Glad to hear you we're on the fish.
