Now is that intermediate time, between ice and ice-out.
There is still fishable ice up north, and open water down south (in New England).
I will be carping on Sat, and might venture up north next weekend for a final ice outing.

Then I'll be getting ready for spring kayaking!

I have the boat home finally.
But it's way too windy this weekend.
So I'm working on it instead.
Wheel bearings, installing a TrollMaster, etc.
Love working on my boat.

.. I like working on mine too.. as long as it is on my own terms... and not being forced to ...

sooner or latter it will get warm.. white perch fishing has begun in the tidal streams... it's not  fast fishing  but it beats stocked trout.

Did some nice work with a buddy on mine.  The previous owner never finished the front floor below the anchor compartment.  Buddy is good with aluminum and the rivet gun and made a nice subframe.  Now I need to get fuel into the looper without leaking....
