Wolfe's Neck, Freeport
« on: Sep 26, 2018, 08:33 PM »
I'm going to be camping on Wolfe's Neck in Freeport a couple weeks from now. Can any of you Maine boys offer any advice about fishing in that area. I can bring salt and/or freshwater gear, and will have a kayak as well.  PM me if you want, and thanks in advance.   ;D

We got 22 schoolies Friday plus 15 more on Saturday including a 26" slightly north of Freeport.

Thanks all for all the replies so far. I'll definitely be bringing the kayak along with freshwater and some salt gear.

That sounds interesting. Mind if I ask what you were using?  ;D

Trolling pink tubes that were about 10-11" long with a single hook at the back end

Yes, a nightcrawler some times, but one day we did better on tubes with no bait on the hook. Not what I expected.
