sauger b/c of the dark spots on the dorsal fin
may your lines be tight and nets heavy

 i can always cancel class to go hit the stream instead

That strange fish looks to be an abyss species, dark coloration, large eyes, perhaps a snaggletooth fish. :-\

Could be a Saugeye cross between a walleye and a sauger..
