Title: Slough Weeds

Does anyone know if they are going to do anything with the weeds at the slough ?

I really doubt it since it's getting drained next March.

And with as hot as the water is and the lower lake level, I would assume killing any weeds now would starve fish for oxygen

never fished it.  sounds shallow from what i hear.  a good dipping out probably the only thing that will stop the weeds.  or just dump more toxic weed killers in it.  why dont you guys drag some heavy line around and cut it off in areas?  troll some "weed razors" around that place a day or two.  is that legal? hum
not sure if it's legal but it gets done. The problem is even getting out to an area to do that. The weeds reach the surface almost everywhere.  And weedless props are not weedless.

The slough was actually meant for waterfowl. The fishing is secondary. And chopping them up is only temporary. I'm not sure what plant it is, but I believe maybe hornwart? that spreads even more when chopped up.
