Title: Couldas, shouldas, and wouldas.....
Post by: rivereddy on Jul 16, 2021, 04:00 PM
So my fishing buddy and I decided to give the white bass another workout yesterday.  You know meet at
my place hook up the boat and off we go eh?  About 1/2 hour before we were to meet he calls and says
he doesn't think it's such a good idea to go.  The thunder and lightning outside my front door was doing a
good job convincing me that he was probably right.  We agreed to wait 'til this morning.  Well the radar
looked like a Christmas tree - all green with a bunch of red blotches.  After joking about lightning rods and St Elmo's
Fire in a 14' boat we cancelled again.  That was at 7:30 am.  Haven't had a drop of rain or any wind all day....

fish on, tomorrow I hope

Lol, that happens, last trip last year, was great when we left the house, got to the lake only to see a storm brewing, lightning and a spattering of rain, partner looks at me and says what do you think. We waited for it to pass, only took about 45 minutes, but seemed longer with a impatient kid bouncing around in the truck.
