Went to the peirs yesterday in fairhaven where the boats come off the lake into the harbor....i cought 4 nice brown trout the biggest was 21 inches......just wanted to let you die hard trout fisherman know...i used a rapala and a spoon....spoon was most successful...red and white....i cought them at about 9 p.m. right as the dwn hit....then the rain fell down...and the lighting spooked me....so good look iif you try
If your electronics don't say MarCum then you're already too far behind me to catch up!

Perchslayer,

Was there a mudline? i.e.  What color was the water around the pier?  Murky brown or a dark clear water?

I was gonna go up tomorrow am if I could confirm a mudline....

The water was in between but the waves were coming in from the lake so the bait fish were in and i hooked some eyes to....but nuthing real big....but the browns were good....i was only there for like an hour...till the rain hit :) ;)
