If ya don't mind me asking, what type of fishing is producing (jigging, chucking cranks, ...).

For me.. it's been small bucktail jigs tipped with a fathead or two.. fished really slow! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)

Nice job Chris! We almost came down sat but ending workin on stuff that got neglected all fall.

Otis - Like Slug said, mostly a jig bite. I do have a spot or two down here I can get them casting sticks when the river level is right.  ;D

Thanks guys!  I usually use jig a bucktail/twister or twister real slow this time of year.  I'll have to pick up some fat heads and give them a try this weekend if the canal doesn't freeze over.

Has anyone fished Oneida lately?  Is it still fishable?

Had a comp day to burn.. seemed like a good day to hit the river.. it was. Quite a few guys jigging the deeper water and catching lots of little guys. I ran up to my "secret" skinny water spot and picked up five very nice keepers in short order. Played around for half a day.. caught and released a bunch of nice fish.. nothing huge.. 18-22 inchers. What a great day! I'm just afraid it's gonna end soon. Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)

Went down to oneida shores today, It's locked up solid from there to Big Bay. Broken up alittle in between though.
