when trolling crankbaits and other lures what do u guys recomend using ............the outboard or the trolling motor?

Depends.
If the fish want the bait faster than 1.8 mph I use my outboard (could slow down with the drift sock but never do) Or if the wind is a problem I use my outboard. For everything else I use the MinnKota, especially now with gas prices hitting $2.35
