Ny catfish thread

Last Sunday night 5/18/14, finally made it out for our 1st night of 2014 Cat Fish'n.
It was an awesome night for the 1st trip. My buddy and I put so many cats on the bank it was nutz, with just about every cast putting another on the bank, totally awesome!!
With most of the catfish on the smaller side, we had a fun night of plenty of action and here are the few over 24".







Next to last fish, we finally smacked down a bigg'n @ 30" and 12 pounds.


Then with the last cast, my buddy gets his biggest for the night.

Yes it is Deposit (Matt), and the water was high and up in the rocks, normally when the water is high, the catfish'n is awesome. 
You couldn't even walk down the shoreline and made landing fish fun in the rocks, that is why we always bring the net.

got some hogs outta Oneida this weekend. Only managed two. one around 10lbs and the other was 17. couldn't keep the bowfin and pike off the lines!

No sir, but it is an Oneida lake trib and only about a half mile from entering the lake. South shore
