Waste of money dredgingÖ. Mother Ontario, along with Mother Nature are tough to beat.

That pic that Freddie posted not long ago, shows where most of the sand was moved to. Towards the island.

Back not that long ago the dunes south of the inlet were wide and very tall, current ripped through the channel too keeping it open and where that big sand bar is now inside the pond was one of the deep spots on the pond. had a steep drop where fishing was fun. They'd need to do a monster project with a hard walled jetty out into the lake to have a shot at keeping it open long term and with lack of current doubt that would work. And real sand suckers like they use for ocean beach restorations. Don't see it happening. Totally agree the dredging they do is a waste of money. Sold family camp on Blind Creek last summer after 53 years. Water used to be clear in the pond too. Only constant is change i guess

I was further down the lake today with the Mrs kayakingÖ.I found some prime duck hunting spots. Full of woodies and mallards. I even bet some divers would entertain showing up for the party!😈
