Vintage fishing spoons
« on: Mar 24, 2024, 06:01 AM »
Do we have any vintage spoon people on here that might no some history on these?  Organizing my lures yesterday and came across a herters mooselake (not typo) wobbler, seems old.  The green one appears to be same thing but no markings.  The bottom one says ED Z HOOK NO. 4.  All three about 3 1/2” long.  Thanks in advance.

Ones I have  are mooselook wobblers
I used them 4 decades ago for perch
 They have some on EBay
I see 1 of yours has a Japan stamp on it ,
I believe originally were made in Maine

Mooseluk wobblers are a staple up here in Maine to this day and I have many.   Was curious if people knew about these ones,  a predecessor perhaps?  Can't find any details on internet

 Mooselook spoons started in 1938
I used them through the ice
Look below maybe you can chase it further

Herters  started in 1937 , bankrupt in 1981
