Caught this last weekend doing some bank fishing.  Also, fought and lost to a really nice steelihead.

It's amazing that you can catch a fish that large in a stream like that. From the pic it doesn't look too big( the stream that is).

that's how it is out there... the best and most fun fishing IMO is in the streams. u can often see their backs sticking out of the water and they rip through the shallows with only half their body in the water... nice catch!

Thanks guys.  It was a good fight.  Their are some bigger pools in that creek.  It is pretty small though.  At one point, it was absolutely LOADED with salmon and a few trout.  That fish was caught  legitimately (inside corner of the mouth).  Not lined...or snagged.  Put your time in and you'll find some biters.
