fiance with big brown trout

so i'm at work today and my finace sends me a text and says just caught the biggest fish of my life. she went out with her dad and landed a nice brown trout, tipped the scales at 5lbs. i didn't catch it  but it was d**n tasty

Nice brown!  Looks a lot like my home lake    Them browns have really been bulking up since the alewives came in although I have yet to get one above 5 lbs    Good Fishin

Nice Brown. Although I prefer the more mustard colored variety.  My personal best in VT is 7lbs, and he had the same colors as your GF's.  Must be a lake vs. river thing on the color variation.
