Rumble in Rockland
« on: Sep 18, 2006, 08:56 AM »
Had a great time yesterday at the annual Rumble in Rockland Fall Classic. The Rumble is a day on the water doing what we love the most and adding a competetive twist to it(Can't forget the winner get's bragging rights on the board until next fall ;D)...This year brought more boats and members than previous years...I knew it would make for a great day.It was so nice to see some old friends! So much happened yesterday that it would take me the day to write about it! I can express it better in pics. Thanks Mikey for putting together such a great g2g.

Jig head and I both await for our rides/partners at home

Waiting and sharing secrets at the launch..

Ready to launch..

JP and John ready to go!

Hmm.. :D

Wayne ready to go

Bobber and DR.B

Let's go! My partner was running in a Crestliner Sportfish with a Merc 115 EFI..Beaut

Fishing kind of sucked because we were fishing a stretch of the river that niether my partner and I have fished before...In the end it was not enough to take bragging rights, but enough to keep the guys from hounding me until next year that I got skunked :D It was actually a bad day for everyone.....

JP with the biggest bass..4.8(Thanks for the free Venom stuff bud)

Spinner with one..

Myself..again :) with my partner..

John with a nice one..

JP, Glenn and the guys from Fin-tech...I don't know who was driving the Z21 Comanche???

And a group of great guys!

Too bad you could not make it BBRich, it was a blast!

Lots of nice pictures there and some pretty darn nice boats too :o  Do you think that one guy in the 2nd to last picture has enough poles in his boat :D   That's about what I bring when I go walleye fishing ;D

Funny thing is the 2 brothers/partners from Fin-tech with all those rods are strickly walleye fisherman  The derby was not about winning anyway :) They came out to have fun and gain exposure for the product.

Lookinf forward to fishing with most of the guys again soon as I was invited to fish Bassin For Bucks next weekend....Till then I think it's time to go to the 'ol trout and walleye holes 8)
