Another Crappie Day
« on: Nov 06, 2004, 07:50 PM »
Scuba invited me to join him today...strange weather fronts moving through...fishing was slow, but a dozen fish were boated, one a MB Master Angler at 13.5".

The weather was so-so, and the fishing a bit slow, but it was a nice outing.

There were 2 other boats on the water...although I am not certain at the same time - one arrived at the launch shortly after us and the other showed up later.  There were a few folks fishing from shore / dock over the course of the day.

There was some wind, but it wasn't crazy.  Most of the time we stayed on the lee side of the shore, so it was even better.  The lake is kind of L shaped, so there is always some place you can get a break from the wind.  In this part of the country we didn't get anything like the 80 km/h winds they were predicting.
