I have been making my own beer for 15 years now.My favorite is a Yorkshire Nut brown porter with a touch of choc. malt, steeped with haulitaur hops.Nothing like a good homebrew to go with a pig roast!

Cider - wasn't Stegmaiers 1857 was it?  Cheap and really not that bad.  Iron city was about the cheapest local brew from my college days.

I like anything that says Labatts on the label, Moosehead and Molson.  Bud is my standby and will down a few Busch while fishing.  Yuengling and Corona (hold the lime :-X )are both good thirst quenchers when tending to a hot Bar-B-Q.
May your doorknobs smell of fish!!

I am thinking maybe...  I really need to see a case of it to be able to remember.  The darn labels were falling off the bottles so much that I can't remember what it was called!  Probably consumed too much of it to remember too.   ;D

I have a buddy that drinks that stuff all the time.  Next time I'm there I'll take a pic if there are any labels left.  ;D That's what made me think of it, I always thought he just peeled them off, then I grabbed one out of the fridge one day and most of them weren't labeled properly or at all.  :-\

Any of the medal winning brews from Bristol Brewing Company in Colorado Springs.
  • Red Rocket - Pale Ale
  • Laughing Lab - Scottish Style Ale
  • Winter Warlock - Oatmeal Stout (Makes Guiness seem thin and watery.)
  • Edge City IPA - India Pale Ale
  • Others at: http://www.bristolbrewing.com
Of course it doesn't hurt that I used to brew there and my brother founded the company and developed a lot of the recipes. ;) But hey, the Great American Beer Festival and International medals can't be bought.  8)

raleigh, We need to get you off of the "Flat Tire" and onto the Red Rocket pal! If we are able to get together later this summer to fish, I'll bring you some to try.

Hey got em you just jogged some brain cells there with the old Newmans from Albany I vaguely recollect that.  I do recollect it was real good though I'm thinking that was around 1990 or so I last remember.  It was a delicious brew but I guess it wasn't meant to be.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
