Fall Tiger Muskies
«

I have never targeted Tigers before but i always hear about the fall bite. I was wondering what areas of a lake i should target first.
As the water temps cool do they go or stay shallow or do they generally go to the deep weed edge. Id like to try a couple days this fall on Canadarago Lake in NY State.
Theres some 4 ft deeps weed flats and the weed edge is normally about 9-10 ft deep then drops off quickly to 20+. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

FK- I would try the shallow weedy flats, the tigers are gonna be there early in the AM and right at dusk chasing bait. Go with topwater like a buzzer or spook.

I would try around both ends of the island, around the sunken island, and the flats at both ends of the lake...especially in the evening, or when it is cloudy and windy.

I got this one Aug. 10th 2004 on a black buzzbait with flo.pink 7" worm trailer. After a nasty storm with about an hour of day light left to the day. This tiger was a great surprise out of Cossayuna Lake.
