If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I like hook shaped fish like the old paper graph units you have there. Never been a big fan of the fish symbols. I've had other things marked as fish symbols.

No.
They were a thermal plotter and actually burned the lines, etc. into the paper.
I had a really nice Sitex back in the 80's to early 90's.
Remember the smell well.

That was one of those things I couldn't afford at the time. Now that I'm an old man I can pretty much afford whatever I want.

Yeah, we used the Si Tex very conservatively. I remember the graph paper being expensive. Kind of like an EKG for fish.

Got the Hook2 all wired up. Nice bright screen and a world away from my old DX 200 H-bird. A couple reasons I chose it was for its compact size and the option to use it a s a flasher for ice fishing.

Well, since I bailed on 4/13, I've fished every single day rain or shine. My Bride writes what day it is on the marker board in the kitchen.....because most of the time I don't even know.

I guess I'm successfully re-retired. 👍

Sounds like you have the re-retired thing down pat, Re-congratulation!  ;D

Way back when I use to go to grocery stores, the actual date was a struggle, especially buying meat.
