Small... Medium... Large...  ;D

But I was thinking maybe Bluegill/pumpkinseed hybrids? Least pumpkinseed mixture in the first one, half and half in the middle one and the last one has the most pumpkinseed?

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Fish on the left definitely a bluegill, not spotted sunfish. Spotted sunfish are in the southeastern US. Ear flap is more oblong, not rounded like the bluegill.

My opinion is female seed in the middle & male seed on the right. Males get darker in the spawn, just like crappies.

This reminds me of the salmon or trout thread on the Shanty a few years back.

I'll bet an aquatic biologist would have a hard time labeling them.

Fun stuff!

Left to right, I would say the first is definitely a blue gill, then 2 pumpkin seed sunny's of either different size and/or sex, or maybe pumpkin seed/blue gill hybrids ......  I have no clue really but the last 2 I've always called pumpkin seeds
