Skim Ice
« on: Nov 21, 2008, 08:43 AM »
The very small and shallow ponds up here in Sussex county are partially covered with skim ice. Not much other than a very early indicator of what is to come. Time to tune up the gear and sharpen the spud. The shallow small protected ponds will firm up first and provide a first strike opportunity.
