Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!

Those pumpkinseeds are pretty fish. We don't have 'em around here so I really enjoy seeing them! That waterfall is cool too. Nice pics.

We have a high number of green sunfish in some lakes too. They are the hardest fighting member of the  panfish family pound for pound. We have no seeds though. How big do pumpkinseeds get?

Nice pics dude I see you're catching some anyways......I really need a camera I got some beauty trouties today that I wish I could share. Sure got some good lookin creeks over there ;) You're not the only one with a secret waterfall :-X ;D
What is a decent sized pumpkinseed? 7-10 inches? I got some a few years back down south around 8" and I threw them back thinking (In my holier-than-thou trout fisherman attitude) that they were too small to keep. I realize now that I could have got some decent filets out of them......What's an average/good size for them? They fought great! Later

Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it.

Well I just took a measuring tape to that little tackle box, and its just over 7 inches, and there was about a 1/2 inch of tail hanging off the end.
The one in my hand did get measured, and it was just under 8".
In some big lakes, a 7-8" pumkinseed is probably just above average, but in my little pond, one that size is huge!
8 or 9 inches is about the biggest I've ever seen pumpkinseeds, they don't get as big as bluegills.

Eventually pasquatch, you will be in the right place at the right time and get that impressive fish. Sometimes you just go through a period of having bad luck, for example I caught 4 bass today and my dad caught 19 (funnily enough, yesterday I outfished him for the trout). It just happens sometimes, but things have a tendancy of evening out. Good luck.

Here's my fly fishing adventures at my pond today... :P

Biggest pumpkinseed I've ever caught, 9" exactly! How much does that weigh?

This little guy was just angry at the world! Caught him twice...lol :P

Even dink bass are fun on a 3 weight!

And another medium sized 'seed
