I don't eat the ribs  ;) ;) ;D

Anyway here's the link to the zipping method I posted last year, just scroll down the first page to the post.  Now you just have to get back out and catch a couple more walleyes to practice.

Thanks Slipbob! Got another eater last night. 17" gut hooked so he came home too. Will post pics later.

Got out last night with my buddy, my GF and her little brother for some bottom fishing. Got a ton of sheephead and a couple small channel cats, as well as one nice walleye. Mosquitos were terrible and I ran out of crawlers, but it was a blast.

That's it for now. Hopefully I will be getting out tonight or sometime this week trolling the big lake for eyes.

Well, I got out last week and did some trolling and we did ok. I got one nice walleye that was 4 #'s.
We went again last night nd caught about 50 eyes and sauger in 2 1/2 hours. We kept 15 for a big fish fry.

Here's the 4 #er from too far away :)

Oh yeah man.   ;)   That's like making birdie two holes in a row.   ;)  ;D  I'm working on the makings of a big fish fry myself.  Congrats on walleyes and those are perfect eating size.  WTG!!

Funny you say that!! Last Sunday I birdied two in a row and shot my low round of 35. My GF turns 21 in a couple weeks and we're throwing her a party and a WALLEYE  fry was suggested so they'll be put to good use  ;D ;D

I think they are really. Not sure why though. They sure do fight harder!

Yeah, we have alot of saugers, mostly 10" to 15" they dont get very big. i like the meat, i think its more chewy and flavourful.

Just waiting for the backcountry laker trip

Got out again last night and trolled. Had a great bite for the first hour then they shut off. Ended up with 5 keepers for the two of us.

Enjoy

Nice eyes.  Did they come out of the water with the different colors?
Oh Lord - there he is, it feels like a big one, please don\'t let me lose him, I\'ve never caught one this big before.  I\'ll try not to horse him, and if I land him, I promise to release him, and make a graphite replica, if my wife says it\'s ok.  Thank you for the Rapalas...
