ive also heard that many engines are not recomended to use E15.  Only certain cars 2007 and newer or something.  Its suppose to be really bad for smaller motors.  they better keep 10% around at the pump but you can bet the price will go up on it just because it is a better grade of gasoline.

if your not going to start bashing on this site like you did on Ice Shanty we will be glad to answer your questions ,we had all we wanted on the other site ,  the ol buzzard

Its funny some people bash us for being on ice shanty and saying people that stay up to date have no life.  Yet want advice on here. Yeah tite lines to whatever you add to fuel.  No need to have bashers on here for people who enjoy these sites.

If somone answers your your question, is that an answer or advice....just wondering?  I think trapper could probably answer this.

is startron any different/better than the blue stabil?
They make similar claims.

Think Walmart is the best place for Startron. Got a good supply of Marine Stabil at Bass Pro.

Here are links to some good info....

Startron msds- ( less than .5 % is the "enzyme" they push..the rest is lighter fluid.)
http://mystarbrite.com/startron/images/stories/msds/StarTron_MSDS_Gas_930XX.pdf

Marine Stabil-  no msds found unfortunately

This link gives A LOT of info on fuel treatments...many of which are composed mainly of...... ethanol.

Esox- thanks for cleaning up after me. The link above is the most comprehensive list of treatments/composition of     that I've found.
There are a warnings about a couple of the products listed at the end of this link- an unusual but welcome bit of honesty.
The marketing BS that is used to sell many products should be illegal. A friend of mine summed it up well-
"what the general public doesn't know is what makes them the general public."

Also- Good info from Mercury on the subject-

33 more days. Just ordered some lures from Cabela and Salmo. Boat's ready. We will be up a creek at midnight and on the boat just beofre sun up. I almost like opening day of walleye as much as opening day of deer.

My last boat had an in line water separator on the gas line mounted to the inside of the splash well.  The previous owner had water problems with his gas so he installed it.  It would be very simple to install on your own, 2 screws for the bracket and a couple hose clamps.  It looked like a screw on car oil filter.

Fluke Man - the canal has been open, the lake still had quite a bit of ice yesterday around mid lake but it was going fast.
