maumee river walleye
« on: Mar 28, 2013, 12:43 PM »
Hello

Im from New York State and Im interested in making a weekend trip to fish the Maumee and possibly Sandusky rivers for walleye during the spawn. I was just wondering if any locals would be able to tell me if walleye have been entering the rivers in any numbers yet.  Also, and tips on techniques, bait/rig setups, and basic spots to focus on (I never expect anyone to put me in their honey hole, but just a couple good locations to try would be awesome as Ive never been to these rivers before).  Any information would be greatly appreciated
