We got into some ferocious hitting Crappies the other night. We were fishing a local bridge after dark, using shiners 2' down on bobbers. We didn't need the bobbers, because the Crappie were slamming the shiners just as soon as they hit the water ! We went thru 3 dozen shiners in 2 hours, it was pretty crazy
We could see the Crappies come up and slash the shiners in the shadow line made by the bridge lights.
We caught 27 Crappie, 4 big White Perch and a bunch of small Yellow Perch, We kept the gut hooked ones and released the rest for another fishin mission
We had a awesome fish fry at the lizards lair last night, ( BURP ) Pretty tasty !!
