i would like to hear some meathods for keeping livers on the hook for bullbait.i pesonnally use a treble hook I slide the liver over the eye down on the hooks and then attach the hook to the line with a swivel.this keeps the liver on the hook while casting around 60% of the time.any input would be great.

I tie them like an eggsack and use circle hooks.

I wrap em in pantyhose, works great never lost one. The cashier gave me a weird look when I went to the store to buy them alone haha

best, simplest way i've found is to use a treble hook and leave about 4" of a tag line when you tie the knot; then lash the liver to the shank of the treble with that tag line.

Technique I learned was pack them into a tubular gauze... bury your circle hook within.

Tie a Snell knot cut it off tie another behind it... Acts just like an egg loop just push out the loop from the eye and put liver in and tighten back down
