I didn't know Canistear had Walleyes.  Any size?  Does Clinton or Oak Ridge have walleyes? (I like Clinton for smallmouths).  Tom.

Only Cannistear has walleyes.  It takes some time to find them but the 2 biggest i caught this year were 5lb 12oz and 7lb 11oz.  I saw a 6lber caught last year right near the launch but a lot of days you catch them at 16.5-17.5 inches just under the minimum size.

I tried to fish canistear today couldn't get the trailer deep enough to float the boat. The wind was kind of strong so we left. I droped the boat in on Upper Greenwood. Fished all over the place with plastic and cranks. We hit a bass here and there .I got tired of fighting the wind so we found some shelter on the back side of a few island's we also found lots of perch pickerel and bass . Nothing big
but lots of action that saved the day.
