The canal hasn’t been real productive and the lowered water hasn’t helped either
canal hasn’t been as good as it was since gobies spread all over. The baits still there but it’s just not the same for me anyway.

Happy Thanksgiving Guys!!!        I gave the shore fishing a final shot Tuesday night. Got one slimy pickerel and zip on the eyes!!  Hoping ice gets here soon!!

I took advantage of the milder weather and did an afternoon trip today. The eyes cooperated nicely.  ;D

Everything in their bellies was pretty well digested. Looked like shad to me. I would think most of the shad are toast though. The surface temp was 36.

 Thanks Bruce , I went through caughdenoy the other day and the birds were feeding heavy in the river up above , I assume they were on shad washing down

I go through there all the time. I stopped the other day, and you could see the silver in the moving water. the gulls were plenty.   Sully...
