     That's a real nice pike Grump, after some careful calculations, I'd say that's a 54" Northern. Has an interesting pattern to it's markings too.

thanks everyone for playing along.....the correct answer is 40"...making this fish 1" short to qualify for manitoba master angler. as i posted, the girth on this fish was 23 1/2"...quite a belly...weight??? unknown, but i can assure you....it felt all of what it looked....Foszey.....your the man...IM your full mailing address and i will get the goodwrench chair out to you....quite a range of guesses....and fun!!!....grump
