Nice pics JJ and very polite of you to share your fishing spot with an adult teaching her little ones to fish 👍

Lol. She's really good at catching them, usually doesn't take her long. She's also the dominant one, chases all the other bears away. This is her second year with these cubs and they will be on their own next year.

Side note, I met a guy from Switzerland that now lives close in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. He was struggling to catch fish, noticed his leader was only 2 feet long, so I tied him a longer one with fluoro and gave him a couple flies that have been working for me.

Thanks. People are so nice up here, I'm always talking to other anglers. Yes, still tossing spoons some days, and the double bladed pink Panther Martin has been killing the Dolly Varden, one evening last week I caught 40 in 2 1/2 hours.

Hit a finger lake yesterday for few hours. Perch are full of snails. Tough to match that hatch but slow drag with drop shot plastics in 35-50’ worked.

Excellent catch once again.  I’m finally freeing up my schedule and might see you out there, maybe Friday.

The pink salmon are spawning, which means they get foul hooked easily but still getting them to bite. And Lulu has been showing her cubs how to fish. I was out in the middle of the river and a guy was frantically waving his arms at me, I looked upstream and saw her about 150 yards away. The fish were biting and I really wasn't concerned, she is usually focused on finding the salmon.
