Yup, kinda like holding fish out as close to the camera as possible (and as far away from your body as possible) to make them appear bigger.  :o

yea i have a hard time believing that it weighed 87 lbs yet the guy is holding it on a stick away from his body like that, it would be way too heavy for him to lift like that.
