Ended up twisting a bungee around a strap n then leaned my rods over a strap toward the tailgate. It’s simple but worked pretty good tonight.

Simple is always good... you'll tweak it some, every idea starts some where. .:clapping:

Do with this as you please, this is how I transport, anything in the bed must be secured with a load bar, aside from that, they take far more abuse from being used.

Nice set up

When I travel to Canada I put my rods in a hard side plastic rod case and strap it to the top of my tonneau cover on the truck bed.  Stays secure, doesn't get impacted by gear inside the truck bed, and I'm not limited to shorter rods.   Works for me.

This thing takes my setup to the next level.  Not sure its worth the money but I like the idea.  Also not sure it'd work with fly rods since the butt end is so short.
