Title: Fish arch is flat not arched, supposed to be half moon shaped

Garmin Echo 551dv. Comparing the fish arch in the water to the simulator they are very different. In the simulator they are half moon shaped and when out fishing the are horizontal with really no bend, not arched.

Do I have the setting wrong? The transducer is level as I can see. The finder is hooked up to its own battery(my vexilar bat) not the battery the TM runs off.

Mac, thanks for sharing the videos. Oliver motors were the first outboards we sold at my uncles marina. Then it was West Bend and then Johnsons...h2l
