I’ve been neglecting deer because it’s so much fun
I’ve tended bar for over 30 years and with Covid my side gig dried up. Not juggling that schedule has freed me up to chase perch on four lakes this fall so far.

At 64 I’ve only boat fished perch about 4 times , guess I missed out on some fun ,
 Ended up with some nice 8 stripers 😜 , that’s a 7 gal bucket down to the first ring

Four times perch fishing from a boat . Possibly another convert.
Nice bucket and nice eyes.  I’m making a second Oneida appearance today.  I figure if I smell like perch today, the deer won’t smell me tomorrow.

 Thanks guys, far as the perch thing goes I lied I’ve been 5 times , 3 with GB , 1 with JP , 1 with TA , now anyone can catch fish when the bites hot 🎣, and your guy puts you on top of them 😎

Had to work for them today.  The water was murky. Much darker than last week. Managed 30 but I was at it for over 6 hours.  Nice fish though.

Nice fish fellas it was a sad day on Saturday for us had to head to camp to pump antifreeze thru the lines get her ready for icefishing never wanna leave when I am up there threw a few cast with a buddy of mine Saturday night locked up camp Sunday and headed home to chase wood goats for the next couple months hope she locks up right around Christmas but for now little pounder is up to bat this year been shooting his bow every night and ready for this weekend what a great it was up on the lake
