Title: Which batteries will work?
Post by: fish4lunch on Jun 22, 2020, 10:00 AM
I'm in need of a new battery. I'm considering a "DUAL PURPOSE MARINE BATTERY".  Mainly, trying to save a buck but at the same time I want something reliable. Trying not to dump more moey in it because I intend on selling it. Any advice is much appreciated.

Depends on what you want to use it for. If your outboard requires a certain amount of cranking amps make sure to get the correct one. There is a pretty good battery discussion on the general page on this site. Lots of good information there.

Might also look at the trolling motor one as there is good information in that one about wires and such with battery info. Lots of good information on the site.
