I waded out on the south shore Friday night ,water was rough early but laid down.
Took couple big waves over my waders (little wet, lol) got there at dark second cast 19 incher
slammed my lure went on stringer . Was thinking was going to be great night well not even
another bite , stayed till  almost midnight , let the 19 incher go to swim another day
Water is still very warm and weeds still thick in places and lot of floaters , wont be long need more
cold temps to help drop water temp and I as well usually have best luck mid to late October

I trolled worm harnesses out in 17-22 ft of water yesterday afternoon for a couple of hours without a hit.  Marked quite a few fish in places and many huge balls of bait.  Water temperature is down 9 degrees from last week and falling fast with these cooler nights.  Time for me to switch to perch fishing.  FYI Brewerton Bait Store is closed.

Bobby Deadeyez...I tried to send this in a message; but I couldn't add the picture...so here is the walleye fungus we talked about soo many months ago...Finally it's done! please let me know if you are still interested. I hope this image comes out...if not I'll try again...here goes...Yes!
Freddie found the fungus this spring while trout fishing and dried it out perfectly...I was soo busy getting ready for the Jordan Fall Festival that I had to leave it on the back burner for awhile...download the picture and then you can enlarge it...it looks much better close up where you can see the carving and the paint better...

Thanks Fred, maybe you and Deadeyez can take a ride together some time. This Saturday 12th isn't good for me...or Wednesday 16th. Other days are good so far.
It sounds pretty quiet out on the water...

Wow. Thanks for the pic, Fred.

It’s been running close to 6000cfs. That’s nothing to be careless in.

The last boat I saw capsized on Oneida was also anchored off the stern.
