Trout Stocking This Week

iam not triing to be a smart *** but the paragragh abover the stocking date says it...and for the last 2 years they wrote on the web site that they stocked i small river by my house and i had made trips there with no fish so i called and they said they drove to the site and becuse of water levels that they could not stock.....i know there 99.8% right on...but there is that chance they dont

Some of the rivers are still very high. I don't think they would stock them when they are that high. If they did, that would give the fish a chance to spread out and be a bit harder to catch. So I guess it wouldn't be all that bad to stock with high water.
