Yak Attack
« on: Oct 09, 2012, 08:44 AM »
Hadn't hit the salt since June in the kayaks, so decided last Friday was as good as its going to get in October and hit the northshore for some striper fishing.  I wasn't alone on getting out on the water- with the weather being so crappy for the last couple of weeks there were a lot of boats out there fishing.  Trolled the tube n worm in tight to the rocks and managed a pair of keepa's (34 & 36inch respectively).  There were a lot of golf ball sized jelly fish in the water - seemed weird to me, never seen that many all the way through the water column.  It has been a good year for me on the salt, hope to get one more trip- but if this is the end, then I went out on a good note.  Here is a pic, don't mind my daughters "mug shot" looking face

Nicely done!
If you have great friends, taunt them..... endlessly. Even if you don't have good friends taunt them just for the practice. This is the Gospel according to the GODs.
