They were traditional reubens..the leftover pot roast was frozen before I got to it. BUT I know what I am making with it when we thaw it! Thanks for the idea!

Damned auto correct!

Did some bacon in my new carbon steel fry pan this morning to further the seasoning. Made some bacon, eggs and home fries for my Bride and I for breakfast. Left over bacon will make some bean and bacon soup tomorrow.

Tonight it’s a nice thick pork chop in that pan with some corn and beans for dinner.

Tried to order a 5 ply stainless 10” from Madein. Out of stock. I’m on a waiting list. No matter......it’s a luxury and I can wait for that.

Started some “Whatchagot” soup for later. Carrots, onion, celery, whits beans, black beans, lentils, ham and some left over bacon. Had some chicken and beef stock left over for the broth.

Love making soup and using up bits from the fridge.
