I've tried fishing for those darn things and it makes fishing feel too much like work for me. How bad would I get beat up in the canoe down there? I'd leave your big game for ya after snappin' pics. you'd be alright in a canoe. Alot of people take their canoes and kayaks around there. Just don't get too close too them falls1 But I'm sure you already know that. Right along where I fish on the Jetti you would do quite well . Alot of weeds and structure to fish. If you make the trip down let me know how you do.
