can somebody post some pictures of all the different kinds of carp they've caught and what kind they are.
i caught a carp last weekend, not a grass carp, or common. carp for sure though, just can't figure out what it is.

oh, forgot the discription
it was smooth on most of it's body with only a single line of large scales along it's back. carp style yellow, and was a hefty fish that fought by hugging the bottom and swimming sideways
i'll try to find a picture of the same kind of fish, didn't have a camera when we went
any help appreciated

aha! thanks to powdiddy for taking this picture and posting it so that everyone can use it
mine was about 3-4 pounds, not huge for a carp, but fought very nicely

Gymnocypris przewalskii is a specie of scaleless carp, but it's only found in Northern China.

A carp covered in large, irregular scales is a mirror. A carp without scales is a leather carp, and a smooth carp with one line of scales like you describe is a linear. Congrats on your catch!
