what is worse than eating a 10# eye from erie? eating a 20# toxic fat filled greasier. lol or maybe a huge turtle ;D
really though this is outstanding! thats a great read you posted. thx! will be interesting to see what comes of it. maybe it will help tame down the commercial rape thats going on. i would consider fishing erie again if it offered huge lakers! just for fun of course.
Big Lake Trout in Erie has been going on for a long time. Just documented natural reproduction hasn't. NY record has been held by lake Erie for sometime.
41-8 lbs. Jesse Wykstra NK Spoon Lake Erie, Chautauqua Co. 8/9/03

My Terrova works great. Looks like a good trip swap to me. I will even cover the eels. They still $30 a dozen. I remember going threw 4 dozen one night a Montauk.

Trip swap for sure! I have the gear to jig tuna as well but still trying for my first. Ya eels are at a premium but also give the premium results!
