berkly gulp minnows work !

just wanted to give a heads up for those that havent tried yet. i just caught my first crappies with the berkly gulp minnows. i used the 3" version that look like the real thing, grey and white. used a small jigg head with em but ya got to becarful as the rock bass love em too.

i tried the little pouch first. i haven't bought the container with the "juice" in it yet. you can get the pouches for i think 5.00 or so.

2 inch gulp grubs in white, with a pink head.

im gonna run down to the bass pro shop tomorrow. i might pick some of them up.what size jig you using ?

3/8 oz. try roadrunners in pink/ white also.

caught some more crappie jut over the state size min. i tried the white and pink but no luck at all with them.the grey and white ones or the dark grey with sparkles seem to be working the best.

i cant say no luck with the white and pink, my nephew caught one tiny crappie with one.

The bass love them! I was actually trolling the smelt version for salmon and trout. I didn't catch any trout or salmon but caught many small mouth. This 3 lber was caught 30 feet down with the downrigger, out in the middle of the lake.

nice bronzeback bonehead! i got a largemouth at 35ft a few years ago trolling.

belive it or not I often catch them trolling that deep with lead core line for white perch on dacoma lake with a small rapala as well as cobbese
